Employee scheduling software for Excel

Staff Planner 2006 is an Excel based application which schedules employee holiday / vacation time, overtime and time in lieu. It also tracks staff cover availability and any other form of employee scheduling that you set up, such as clients, sick leave or business trips.

Employee scheduling is updated using the pre-setup codes then, selecting the cells (staff member & date) that you wish to update.

The reports give you statistics for each employee for the year or period you specify, and the charts give a great graphical look to those stats, making it easier to understand the your employee time bookings.

It is customizable and user-friendly, ensuring consistency and quality of information. It creates wall charts, statistics, graphs and overtime reports (see Features). The smallest time unit, apart from overtime (measured in hours or parts thereof), is a half day. All data is carefully validated.

The Staff Planner is purely time based - there are no money implications, so you do not need to worry about wage confidentiality. Keep it simple or use it to its full potential, it is employee scheduling software at its best. Apart from employee scheduling, it can also be used to track time and attendance and resource management.

The Staff Planner can be networked, with multiple login levels providing secure access to your staff.

As it is Excel based with a single Excel file and a Help file, it is easy to make copies, and there is no need for your IT department to have to install a new application on each user's PC, so long as they already have Microsoft Excel 97™ or later installed on their computer.
